mapenvelope started as a letter to a friend and turned into a website for everyone to use free.
The idea was selecting a location in Google Maps and using a print-out of the map as the inside of an envelope to send to a friend via old-fashioned snail mail. The website is currently down anyone willing to get involved is welcome.

It was featured on websites like Gizmodo, Lifehacker, Makezine and many other printed media since 2010.
